Experiencing God Part II
Vernon Park Church of God and the Christian Education Department invite you to participate in the upcoming 2008 Fall Institute, Experiencing God II. The Fall Institute will be held each Wednesday from October 1 through October 29, from 7p-9p at Vernon Park Church of God. Registration fee is $20 for ages 18 and up. The fee includes the cost of the required textbook, Experiencing Godby Henry Blackaby and Claude V. King. There will also be on-going classes for children between the ages of 6 and 17. There is no cost to them. Those who purchased books for Experiencing God Part I held during the 2008 Spring Institute will not be required to pay the $20 Registration fee.

Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is a mentoring program that develops leadership, talent, and accountable young males (ages
11 - 17 years old). The Scouts meet here at VPCOG every Saturday down stairs in the lower level Fellowship Hall
every Saturday at 11:00 A.M.. The BSA offer their challenging ranks in these order; Tenderfoot, Second Class Scout, First Class Scout, Star Scout, Life Scout, and finally Eagle Scout.
Cub Scouts of America is a mentoring program for developing young males ( ages 6 - 10 ) good leadership skills. Vernon Park Church of God (has Cub Scout meetings
every Saturday at 10:00 AM for an hour . Cub Scouts has the following ranks for members; (1st Graders) Tiger Scout, (2nd Graders) Wolf Scout, (3rd Graders) Bear Scout, and (4th Graders) Webelos, and adult attendance is requested by the Scout Master. Cub Scouts teach skills that applied to survival in today’s society.
